InPods recognizes the unique challenges faced by higher-ed institutions that are transitioning towards greater autonomy and seeking specific accreditations.

InPods provides solutions that are tailored for higher-ed institutions issuing professional degrees and certificates in Engineering and Management. Many of these institutions have embraced and are implementing outcomes-based education (OBE) and seek accreditations such as NAAC, NBA and ABET for their programs.

Health Science focused institutions, and within this segment Medical Colleges, have very unique challenges as they migrate their curriculums to competency-based medical education (CBME).

Independent of their programmatic focus areas, all Academic Institutions, including those providing liberal arts, science and commerce education, are aspiring to become more autonomous and seek institutional accreditations like NAAC.

Skill-based training providers issuing credentials in the form of certificates and badges have a different set of challenges as they manage large numbers of students coming in and out of short duration batches. These providers design their curriculum, instructional aids, assessment tools centrally but deliver to multiple centers spread out geographically. Conducting assessments of these students in the field and collecting student competency data requires special attention.

    Indira Group of Institutes, a premier institute in Pune, India, wanted a technology platform to enhance the teaching & learning experience for their students. The project involved integration of the Office 365 Education suite (O365) with InPods – a cloud-based learning platform for Outcomes-Based Education (OBE). Faculty members and students log in with the convenience of single sign-on and seamlessly collaborate. They bring in teaching aids and assessment content from O365 and contextualize it with their daily workflow of teaching and learning process implemented on the InPods Learning Platform. Download PDF
  • JSPM’s RS College of Engineering

    JSPMs’ Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (RSCOE) in Pune, India has successfully managed its programs for 15 years with good results and was accredited as part of an accreditation system which was an input/output-based, as opposed to outcomes-based. After several rounds of internal reviews a primary focus on improving learning outcomes was determined to be more beneficial. The idea was to embark on such a journey informed by learning-data.
